Build your erasure requests
Fill this in once. You get a separate request for each broker, worded for the legal ground that actually applies to them, with the date they have to answer by.
This form runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us, logged, or stored. Close the tab and it is gone, so copy what you generate before you leave.
Where the deadline comes from
The one month response time, the two month extension, the rule that a short month clamps to its last day, and the rule that a weekend or bank holiday deadline moves to the next working day all come from ICO guidance on the right to erasure, last checked on 2026-08-16. Read it yourself. That guidance is currently under review following the Data (Use and Access) Act, so we re-check it before each release rather than assuming it has stayed still.
We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice. A broker can refuse an erasure request on grounds set out in Article 17(3), and some will. If one refuses or ignores you, it has to tell you why, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
